Monday Musings!

We went shopping for lamps over the weekend and I found this great desk lamp for my daughter at Lowes.  I need to go back and get her the matching floor lamp.

This great bracelet is now on my watch list.  My Instagram friend got this at TJ Maxx.

EEK - I have tickets for the New Kids - my sister and I are going to see our boys again!  We are in section 7 and I am so thrilled!  Really hoping they do an after party so we can see our guys up close.

 I am loving the new things they are doing with Birchbox each month!  The April boxes are beautiful and I want both New York and California boxes!  How will I choose?

I love the Bonus buy choices too - and I think I have decided on the tumbler and notebooks.  I am crazy about cute tumblers.

My Miss A order came in the mail the other day and I was super excited!  I got a lot of bracelets this time.  Shopmissa.com is a $1 website with really cheap shipping too.  I got all of the below items for $10.

Another Shop Miss A Haul

Miss A is a great website with jewelry and makeup and accessories - and everything is $1!  Another great thing about this site too is that shipping is just $3.95 regardless of how much you buy.

Multi-Chain Link Bracelet - This is a very nice silver bracelet that you can wear with lots of things.  It comes in lots of different colors too.  

Dainty Small Crystal Bracelet-   This looks very nice on and I got it in silver too.  It is sold out right now but the nice thing about Miss A is that stuff comes back into stock pretty fast.  You just have to keep checking on it.

Three Circle Pendant Crystal Cuff Bracelet - I really like this cuff bracelet.  

Elf Shimmering Facial Whip -  This comes in several shades too.   I got the Lilac Petal and I got a few to stock up because these are a great dupe for Benefit's That Gal.

Elf Super Glossy Lip Shine -   The site has a lot of shades of this as well.  I bought the watermelon one.  

Colorful Floral Cosmetic Pouch -   I ordered 3 of the dark pink bags here.  They are all super cute.  The site has a lot of cosmetic bags but they sell out really fast.

Saturday Steals and Deals!

I found these cute nail polishes when I was looking up nail polish that came in the Glossybox.

I am really crazy about pretty blushes.  Laura Mercier has a really pretty one at Nordstrom's that I just fell in love with!  

Sephora is going all out to get you to shop there - spend $25 and pick one of these sample bags with purchase.  They have more photos out there of what comes in each sample bag.  

Elf has this little collection on sale right now for $3 when you spend $25 - use code MERRY.

They have several things in their line that I like.   Their blushes, face whip, and lotion wipes are my go to products.  

I put in another order at Shop Miss A a week ago and got some great bracelets, earrings and makeup.

First Look:

I love when Glossybox pairs up with Alex and Ani for a free bracelet gift.  This one is for Energy - embrace the power of positivity.  It is very pretty.  This will not be in every box unless you used the code when you signed up last month.  The value on this bracelet is $38 so this more than paid for the box this month. 

 

Vince Camuto Amore -  ($5.74)  This is the prettiest box and prettiest little perfume sample I have ever seen!  I want to keep box forever! This is going right by my bedside so I can see it every day.  The scent is also very light and is fruity too not just florals.  The full size bottle is so beautiful

Nails inc, Matte Top Coat -  ($10)   This is a good idea to use when you are painting your nails with a really light color - put this on first to hide your nails and then paint away - saves you from doing several coats too - Ramblings Jen gave me this idea!  I was surfing around their site though and found another bottle I want- Crystal Cap Nail Polish.

Proganix REPAIR. Reparative Oil + Anti-Breakage -  ($11.99)  This is a leave-in oil to put in your hair after washing - which I use every time I wash my hair.  My daughter straightens her hair daily so this bottle will get used up right away. I do want to try one of the other options from this box - the Anti-Fade Hair treatment from the same company.

 Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint (Flush)-  ($24)  Tarte is one of my favorite makeup brands - I got this product in Exposed just a few months ago.  I really like these lip tints.

Sesha Skin Therapy Cell-White Brightening Mask - ($9)   I am not a full mask person so I will probably pass this on to my mother who loves them.   It is supposed to brighten the skin.  

The value of this box was $60.73 plus the bracelet price makes it $98.73 - I paid $21 for the subscription.   It is always a good idea to sign up for a box when they are offering a free gift with such a great value.  Did you like your box this month?  I think it was a little better than a few past months.

Funday Sunday!

Birchbox sent me the missing Model Co lipstick in Kitty in the mail.  It is a really pretty shade and one I wear.  This was my October choice sample and it did not arrive in my box.  Birchbox has the best customer service out there!

My daughter's Loot Crate came this week as well.  She loves this subscription.  The t-shirt that was in this month's box is perfect for October.  Up close it looks like just kittens but far away its a skeleton face.  Loot Crate does not always put a t-shirt in their boxes, but when they do, it's always an epic one! 

 The rest of the Loot Crate box was really fun too!  That saw is a pen! The Fear magazine for the month was 3D with a pair of glasses included.  They have announced that November's box will include a t-shirt. 

The facials I did at my last Perfectly Posh party were a huge hit!  The ladies loved pampering themselves.  We did a 3 part facial: face wash, mask and then moisturizer.  The products we sampled were Delish, BFF,  The Stripper, Drop Dead Gorgeous Mask, Rain Mask, Moisture911 and Night & Day moisturizer.

SATURDAY DAYDREAMS

Another Saturday is upon us and this is the makeup wrap-up for the week of things that are on my to get list or watch for list!

Urban Decay is one of my favorite makeup lines!  They have 3 big pallets and they just added a second basics pallet.  These are a bit more reasonable in price.  I like this basics one better than the first because the color range is bigger.  Basics 1, shown below, has three colors that are so close I would probably never use them all up before I emptied the darker shades.  Basics 2 is definitely the next pallet I will be buying!

My next watch for item is something I saw on a Facebook group page I am a member of - and I do not even know what the items are but I love them!  So cute and must have for any makeup collector!

 Not a make-up item, but something that has been on my radar for awhile now are the Pura Vida bracelets out of Costa Rica!  These are so cool!  They are so well made and waterproof and I am in love with several stacks!  They are kind of pricey but if you can get them on a sale, they are reasonable.  I got the below Pink Stack for $32 on a Fourth of July sale.  So lucky!  

So I was super excited to find out Birchbox was offering a stack as a Plus item; which means you pay a little more to add it to your box for the month.  This is the stack they are selling and it was only $24 to add it to my box!  I love all the colors in this one too!  

They are doing a free shipping bonus this weekend - OHSHIP gets you free shipping Labor Day weekend.

Pura Vida does sell them in singles but I think the Style packs are the way to go!  So pretty all together!  So there is just a couple more stack on my list to get.  I really want the blue stack below and there is a melon stack I have been drooling over too!
