Planning for the week... and a Kikki K Planner!

Planner Layouts for the Week

Paper Source has a lovely vertical planner that I found through the Planner Society lady, Christy Tomlinson.   She sells a planner kit on her website, Scarlet Lime.com.  This week in my planner I used Willowfields stickers, Washi tape from Target and other sources, and stickers from Hobby Lobby to create my layout.   I used paperclips from Little Miss Daisyrose, sold on Etsy, to decorate my planner further.

In my Sky Blue Color Crush, I used Audrey Hepburn inspired stickers from Miss Sticker Junkie, stickers from Two Lil Bees on Etsy, and a bookmark from Hellopapercat.com.  The bear paperclip is a special release from Planner Glam Girl and the perfume paperclip is from Chic Planner Boutique, both on Etsy.  The tassel is from another Etsy shop, Kawaii Sugar N Spice.

In my aqua Carpe Diem planner, I did a layout with Hedgehogs.  I purchased the Hedgehogs on Etsy form Heidi's Little Planner.  The paper clips are from Etsy shops - Angie's Planner Goodz, Crochandy and Little Paper Pairings.  I really love hedgehogs - one of my favorite animals.

A very popular planner company is Kikki K.  They are out of Australia.  I was lucky enough to get a $10 coupon and shopped on the AUS site, which made this baby $27 shipped.  It is a gorgeous Peach Medium planner.  The charm is by myluckycharm_ and so fun! She sells them on Instagram.

I had so much fun setting up my planner with the Planner Society kit from November.  I love the way it looks in my peach Kikki K

Are you planning any planner goodie hauls soon?  I still need to get to Michaels and Target to scout out goodies.

Happy Weekend!

The week really flew by  - so hard to believe we are in November and the Holidays are just around the corner.

Birchbox never ceases to amaze me.  I got an e-mail stating a product I love, Yarok Feed Your Ends,  is back in stock.  It is $19.80.  I jumped right on because I knew I had a code for being with Birchbox for 21 months - that's right, you get a code all the time - 20% off.  I had about $10 in points too.  I am an Ace so I get free shipping all the time.  That made it about $6 for this hair product to be shipped to me.  This is why I am still a BB subscriber after 21 months!  There is not a sub box out there with this type of program - you get points for reviewing, buying, referring, for just getting a box every month.  Those points turn into cash to spend in their store - and their store is fantastic.  It's not just makeup, skin and hair products - there are kitchen items, candles, clothes, and so many other items.

My planner addiction is beyond control!  I love all the goodies - washi tape, sticky notes, pens, page flags, stickers, paperclips, and more!  Target $1 spot has revamped - it is Spot's Playground now and there are some amazing items in it!  Stuff you can give for Christmas presents - for $1 and $3!  Go check it out.  I had fun sorting through all the goodies.  I got some cute ornaments, stickers, erasers, gift tags, and stocking stuffers.

Etsy shopping is so easy it is addicting.  There are so many cute shops out there and I love the ones that give you little extras with your order.   I ordered these cute Kawaii animal pens and she sent me two paperclips and a note pad set.   How sweet was that?  Planner Hauls is the Etsy shop - go get these pens - affordable and adorable!

I have been on the hunt to increase my planner family with an A5 - I have three personal size - two from Webster's Pages and a Filofax.  But I have really been eyeing the A5 size.  I think I finally decided to get the Simple Stories Carpe Diem set.  Not just because of the planner but the inserts that are included are just beautiful.  Deciding on the color is going to be so hard!  I love the coral, the aqua, and the platinum!  I am leaning toward the aqua because that is the color I have wanted from the start of my planner obsession.

Have a great weekend!  Link your planner blog below so I can check it out!

Posh Mom Box July 2015

What's in
the box?

Posh Mom Box is extremely new to the subscription box family.  This is their second box.  The box is $34.95 but get 10% off your first box by using code POSHMOM1.   I was able to snatch one up before they sold out for July after seeing one posted on Instagram but pretty soon I am sure these will sell out before they are released.  This is a lifestyle box that will contain a variety of  home decor, fashion, beauty, gourmet food, and fitness items.

The theme of this first box was Mermaids and Summer.

So Cal Gems Cali Gems Necklace -   ($15)   I did not even see this in the box photo I saw online but I was thrilled when I pulled it out the box and put it right on because it matched my shirt so well.   It is so pretty and I will wear it with several things.

Citrus Basil Body Scrub by Pure Luxe Apothecary -  ($12)  This really smells good.  I love body scrubs so this will be used.  I do like that this comes from an Etsy shop too and is 100% natural.

Soulmade Goods print "Today is the First Day of the Rest of Your Life -    I love getting little quotes like this in boxes.  I will have to frame it and hang it in my office.  This is not in the shop so it was a special item for the box but their shop has a bunch of creative items like this one.

My Beauty Tea Mermaid Blend - ($8.75)  I do not drink hot teas very often but occasionally in the winter, I will make a cup.  I love sweet teas.  I will try to brew this for my iced tea.

Posh Mom Tumbler by Page261 -   ($14)  This is the reason I bought the box this month!  I love this POSH tumbler - fantastic!  I sell Perfectly Posh and this will be another way to brand myself.  I also spotted a tumbler in the shop I have to get as a gift for my oldest friend who is visiting soon!

This was a fantastic box and I am so happy I grabbed one before they were gone.  The value really was not that high for the amount I paid but I really would have picked almost everything in this box for myself.

Style Quarterly Summer 2015

What's in
the box?

Style Quarterly is a box I have been wanting to subscribe to for awhile and then, when I finally do, the curator is closing the subscription!  I hate it when that happens.  I missed some very good boxes.  Sadly, I do not think this box was up to par with past boxes.

Black Scarf -  This was probably a bonus item in the box because she did not list it in our e-mail about the contents of the box.  My scarf was either cut into two or I got two scarfs with an unfinished side on both.  I will probably use this as a table runner.

French Green Clay Mask by Round About Botanicals -   ($10)  This also included a coupon to save money on their website. This Etsy shop has some really cute jewelry pieces as well.  Since I sell Perfectly Posh, I have a huge assortment of masks.  I love them!  I will give this one a try.

Faux Stone Necklace -    The spoiler e-mail did not include where this was from so I am not sure how to buy one if you loved it.  Check out Subscription Box Swaps and you might find someone willing to do a swap.  I do love this necklace - it is long and the stone matches my ring from Little Lace Box.  I got the blue/white choice out of the four that were sent out.

Love Potion No 18 Body Oil by Apothea Co. -  ($20)  This is probably my favorite item in the box - I love everything about it!  The scent, the feel of it, and of course, the bottle!  I am a packaging junkie - I love cute packaging. This smells like Vanilla Pomegranate.

Shower bombs in Almond Blossom and Hawaiian Dream by Salus -  ($2.45)  There are many varieties of this that I would like to try.  I love bath and body products - of course!

Recipe Dice by Leaf Cutter Designs -   ($16) How fun are these?  You roll the dice and make dinner with your results.  I cannot wait for my husband the cook to try this one night - we will probably have to go shopping to get the ingredients after but I will let you know how it goes!

There was some really nice items in this box but I did not find the value I was looking for in the Style Quarterly box.  This box was $50. This was the end of the subscription though and the curator is introducing a new line called Fete soon.  This will have different curated boxes to choose from to send yourself or friends a gift box.  I look forward to seeing the style of these boxes.

Saturday Steals and Deals!

Happy Saturday!  Check out Hautelook today for Mirenesse Australia, Swissco Beauty Tools and CoTZ sunscreen.  I have heard people praise the Swissco brushes.

I have a lot of goodies in the mail right now - Ipsy, my second Birchbox, PopSugar Must Have, and some goodies from Etsy I ordered for my planner.   It should be a fun mail week!

I cannot wait to start using my new Ban.do planner - it is adorable!  There are cute phrases and clip art throughout it too!  I almost went with the bigger, spiral bound one but I like the size of this one better.

On ETSY, there are so many planner sales pages it is overwhelming so if you have a shop you love, please let me know about it!  I bought from MissStickerJunkie and SweetKawaiiDesign.  I bought some cute planner stickers and some cute page clips.  These are the ones I bought for my Posh business.

Let me know of any deals and steals that you are watching this weekend!  Have a great day!

Hello! Bliss Box

What's in
the box?

Hello! Bliss Box ships to your door for $28.95 with free shipping - I got the box with a coupon and saved $5.  I had not heard of this sub box before reading about it on Ramblings of a Suburban Mom's blog.

Bliss Box includes a post card describing all of the items in the box.

AA Milne quote -   This is not listed on the card but it is a nice little quote card.   I have loved this quote for a long time so it is perfect for me.

Blue Druzy Earrings by Styled Simplicity   ($10) These are handmade from a little Etsy vendor and they are very pretty.  I think I will take them on vacation.

Facets of the Sea by Primal Elements - ($9) I love getting free soap in my boxes so this is perfect.  I would have picked out a different one but it is a pretty color.

An American Flag -   I love that they included a flag in the box but now I am wondering if I got July's box or June's???

Qi'a Dark Chocolate Cranberry Almond bar -  ($1.79 )  A gluten-free snack bar that is right up my alley!  Love this flavor.

Dotted J Elastic headbands - ($10.50)  These are very cute elastic headbands.  It is from another Etsy shop, which I love because I like to support women building their own businesses.

Perfectly Posh Lipsophistication Carmel Cray Cray with samples  ($4) I am a Perfectly Posh consultant so I loved seeing a little goody bag in the box of samples and a lip balm.  Our lip balms are lanolin, paraffin, and paraben free.  This also included an It Girl BFYHC  (big fat yummy hand creme) sample and a Gender Bender soap sample (charcoal soap - great for acne and oily skin).

The price of this box is pretty close to the value of it but I loved the contents so it was worth it to me.  It would be a nice box to send as a gift to a friend.

Tuesday is Monday's ugly sister!

While cruising through Instagram, I found a cute little subscription box called Happy Mommy.  It's mission is to inspire and encourage mothers.  Very cute box with some fun products - great job curating this one.   I will try to grab a March box for review - they go on sale tomorrow.

I am still waiting on my MAC Cinderella makeup items to come in.  So far the reviews of the powders have not been good so we will see when it gets here.  The lipstick still looks amazing.  There have been sold out on line since the day they premiered but they are coming to a MAC store near you - so get to that counter!

I also found the cutest mug while looking up info about the Happy Mommy box.  This Sweet as a Peach mug reminds me of my time living in Georgia.

And this is probably where my addition to peach stuff came from.  I love all things colored peach.  I need to look for some peach fuzzy socks!  And hair ties!  and... the list goes on.

I also found the cutest necklace that must be mine now - I love looking through Etsy - there are some really creative people in the world.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I am finally going to open my Little Lace Box - review to come!
