Target Honor Roll Beauty Box

What's in
the box?

I was able to swipe up the other Target Beauty box as well:  Honor Roll.  Again, these are always $5, free shipping, plus taxes.  These boxes sell out the day they are added to purchase online.

Again, the box was a nice size and perfect for gift giving.  Just decorate over that target symbol and you have a beautiful gift box.

The theme for this box was Honor Roll.

The Bathery Delicate Pouf - ($1.99) I can always use one of these!  And I love the purple color.  These get you nice and sudsy.

Olay Fresh Outlasts Body Wash in White Strawberry -   (Full size $4.99)  I do not even purchase body wash anymore - being a Posh consultant, I am crazy about our Chunk bars but my daughter will probably use this for overnight trips.

Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes -   ($2)  These are another set of towelettes I will use right up.  These are good for taking on trips, camping, or to outdoor sporting events or concerts.

Cover Girl Outlast all-day Primer - ($9.79)  This is the item where the real value is!  This is twice the box - and I will give it a shot since it was in my $5 box.  I wondered why the items had not been that pricey up until now and this is the reason.  Cover Girl really wanted us to try this and love it.

John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7-Day Treatment -  ($2)  I do not know if there is enough product in here to try it for seven days but I will give it a shot.  I do like John Freida hair products.  I have used his Radiant Red shampoo and conditioner a few times.

NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait -  ($4.99)  These are always awesome to get!  I love their butter glosses.  I do not have this shade which is a bonus!

Another great beauty box by Target.  They knock these out of the park.  Another box over $20 in value.  And I will get to try a few things I have never tried before which is always a plus.

Walmart Winter Beauty Box 2014

What's in

the Box?

I realized I had not reviewed the Walmart beauty box even though I had posted a photo of it on Instagram.  Walmart sends out a quarterly beauty sample box for $5 - which is basically the shipping - this really shows me how much value our Ipsy and Birchbox subscriptions are.

L'oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Day Cream - (full size $24.49)  This came with two samples but I have used one of them.  I love it - the smell - the way my skin feels after - definitely something I see myself buying.

Pond's Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream -   (full size $8.97)  I am not a huge fan of the Ponds brand but this is a nice sample and I will try it out.  It does not smell bad - I cannot stand a face cream that smells gross.

Pond's Wet Cleansing Towelettes - ($.80 - full size $4.67) - Another item from the Pond's brand - but I know I will like these.  I love getting cleansing clothes in boxes because I use them and they are handy.  This one did not make my eyes sting or irritate my skin.

Nivea Cocoa Butter - (full size $4.97)  I like the Nivea brand but wish the sample size had been bigger. I am a huge fan of cocoa butter - it is one of my favorites.   There just is not enough in this sample.  It would probably do one arm.  The coupon is to save $1 on any size bottle.

Aveeno daily Moisturizing lotion - (full size $8.97)I like the Aveeno brand and it is good for people with eczema.  This was a nice size sample too - nice little bottle you can throw in your purse or diaper bag.  I might just stick this in the diaper bag I got for my sister.

Olay Tone Perfecting Cream - (full size 21.95)  This is a cute little sample and since it only goes on your face, may last awhile.  I love getting moisturizers is boxes - use them twice a day.  This brand is one I believe in too.

John Freida Volume packets -   (full size $5.47)  I am not a fan of shampoo and conditioner packets mainly because I have a lot of hair and they rarely have enough product to notice if there is any difference.  I like the John Freida brand but I already have hair with tons of volume.  Volume is not my problem - it's frizziness and dryness.  I will pass these on to a friend.

L'oreal Color Vibrancy Shampoo and Conditioner with an Instant Shock treatment -   (full size $5.97)  I do color my hair so I will try this out but like I said there is not enough to try for several days.  I do like that it comes with a shock treatment sample.  I use a John Freida product right now called Radiant Red color conditioner but I am almost out.

Many of the boxes also received a lip product but they ran out of those samples so we were given a substitute item.  I do not know which of these was that product.  I should also tell you this is the older box that goes out.  If you are younger, there is a different box that does not focus so much on anti-aging creams.  I would have been a little happier to get a box with a Cover Girl lipstick or lip gloss but this was okay.  I like trying out new stuff in smaller sizes before committing to buy full size and hate it.

Walmart Fall Box

WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

When I heard Walmart was sending out a quarterly sample box and the price was $5, I JUMPED on it!  That is a crazy good deal, people!  That is basically shipping - so everything in your box is free!  And I was not disappointed!  Variety and nice size items!
The box was actually pretty cute.  I thought they did a good job on it.

First glance:

Even though I had seen a few photos online, there was more in this box than I expected.

Cover Girl Continuous Color in Mauve - I was pleasantly surprised that this was not an awful shade that Cover girl was just getting rid of - I have lots of mauve lip shades.  Cover Girl also has a soft place in my heart because it was my first makeup line.

Loreal Revitalift Triple Power Moisturizer -   I can never have too much moisturizer!  I use it every morning and night.  Love this brand too.  This is just the cutest little tub and it will fit nicely on my nightstand.

Olay Regenerist -  This is a micro-sculpting cream to hide wrinkles and moisturize.  I do not know how many times I have almost bought this!  This was the item I was happiest about seeing in the Walmart Beauty box!  I really wanted to try this without spending the money first.

Juicy Couture's Couture Couture -   And you cannot have a beauty box without a perfume sample!  FUN!

Suave Clinical Strength Deodorant - As soon as I saw this item, I knew who would be using it - my athlete son who cannot wear enough deodorant to keep from stinking!  WOW!

Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy -   And of course, no box is complete with packets of hair products!! I do dye my hair, so I will use these right up.

I did see some variations on this box around the web.  It looked like instead of the moisturizers, some people received Shampoo and Conditioner.  So happy I got what I did.

I thought Walmart did a great job on this subscription box!  For $5, it was an amazing value too!  Did you get the Walmart box?  What was your favorite item?
