THE BOX?

So Susan Lip Love is a monthly makeup subscription bag that is about $21 and ships from England.  I think it is one of the funner makeup sub bags out there as the makeup is so cutely packaged and the makeup bags included are adorable. I also like this makeup line because they are cruelty free, paraben free, and more natural than other makeup lines.

There is a card in each month's bag with the quote on one side and the contents of the bag on the other.   I love the quote this month.

Every month, the sub includes a cloth makeup bag.  They are themed for the month and have the quote on them as well.  I loved the colors in this month's bag and the snowflakes.

Trifle Cosmetics Lip Parfait (Raccoon) - ($18.95) This is a sister company to So Susan. What a cute package!  The color is a bright pink.  I do not know many people who live in England, but they must like bright shades of lipstick.  Every tube of lipstick I have received is a shade I would never wear.  BRIGHT!

So Susan Dual Brow Powder - ($17.95) I passed this on to a friend as I really do not use anything on my eyebrows.  It is a nice quality brow liner. 
 

Jelly Pong Pong Lychee Gel - ($15.95) This is shower gel - it is not a very big tube. I do not think I would ever pay that much for it.

So Susan Luminous High-Coverage Foundation -  ($24.95)  This shade is maybe a tad to dark for my skin tone but I will try it out. It does contain sunblock, which I love in a foundation.

This was not my favorite month for Lip Love, but it was not a total dud.  I do miss getting an accessory in every bag and the price went up - with less in the bag - so that is not something a consumer likes to see. I ended up cancelling this sub, due to a problem with changing the billing information.  I was grandfathered in at the old sub price but since I had to change billing information, they would not let me keep that old price.  I might pick this back up in a few months, but for now I have a overabundance of So Susan cosmetics.

So Susan is a fun cosmetics company over England that has its own subscription monthly bag.  It is called Lip Love - but you get more than lip products in it.  It is $15.90 a month and they ship overseas to the States for free.  I am crazy about their makeup - it is cruelty free and parabens free.  

One of my favorite things about the Lip Love bag is the bag itself - it is always beautiful with a lovely quote on it.  These bags are little works of art.

The inside card has the same artwork and quote on one side and the breakdown of the bags on the other.  This month's theme was I LOVE LIFE!

 There are always three main items and then two bonus items; with one of the bonuses being an accessory.


 Shadow/Liner by Jelly Pong Pong -  ($16)  I love this brand and I love it when an item can be more than one type of makeup - I do not usually wear eye liner so I love that you can use this as a shadow as well.  If you have not gone out and surfed this makeup site - I encourage you to do so. 

Liquid Powder Shadow Palette in Radiant Glow by So Susan -   ($14.95) There are four versions of this palette and I got the perfect one for me!  I love all of these shades and will use them all.  This is just the perfect size too!  I am crazy about this product! 
"It is infused with radiance-boosting minerals, Vitamin K to alleviate dark circles and Copper Peptide to promote collagen and elastin growth around the delicate eye area. "
 

Lip Dome in Mango by So Susan -  ($12)  I will probably have the whole set of these in a few months - I received Black Currant in my last month's bag. 

Glow Getter by Jelly Pong Pong -   ($12.95)  I have gotten this product in a past bag but it is so beautiful.   this is a luminizer and it is quite shiny.  

Bonus item: Stay Connected Ring - ($10) The accessory item is usually where I can take or leave something, as is the case here.  I am not sure how you wear this but I will probably be putting it in my swap board on Pinterest.  It just is not me.

This was another great month for Lip Love by So Susan.  I love the makeup products and the bag so much - and I cancelled Ipsy which is about the same price.  There were $65.90 products in total and I paid $15.95.  Beautiful products that are cruelty free.

The sailboat bag -  ($12) I was thrilled when I saw a spoiler of this bag on their website!  How cute is that little bay with the sailboats?  I almost bought it before I realized it was the bag of the month.

 Anchor bracelet in green -  ($10)  This is nice little bracelet and I will wear it a lot this summer. 

Play Paint by Jelly Pong Pong -   ($13) This is a lip and cheek paint. It is a very bright shade - perfect for summer.  I love products that do more than one thing too. 

Lightning Crew by The Beauty Crop - ($18) I cannot believe this little tube is $18 - but it is really pretty highlighting cream.  I picture it more for younger ladies hitting the clubs though so I will be passing it on. 

Light Diffuser by So Susan -  ($18) I love the packaging on this line of cosmetics.  The website explains how to use too - "Usage : Using the contour shade, apply along the hollow of your cheeks and blend upward to create the illusion of sculpted cheeks by creating shadows. Dust the illuminating colour over cheeks, temples, nose, décolleté, or anywhere you want a boost of soft, radiant color. Try sweeping the shades onto the eyes for a gorgeous, shimmering shadow."  This is scented in dark cocoa and coconut too - YUM!

BONUS ITEM - Creme Couture blush in terracotta -  ($16 - on sale now for $13.33)  This is a lovely cream blush in a great shade for me. I love the packaging! And it also smells really good.  

 The value of this bag is about $75 and it is a great way to try out the So Susan line without spending a lot.  I really recommend this one.  You get a bag, an accessory and makeup!  LOVE that mix of products!
