What's in 

the box?

PopSugar Must Have Box for June came right before I left for vacation so I did not have a chance to review it.  The theme for June was Sun-Kissed, Papaya, Outdoor Fun, Coconut, and Yoga Warrior.

Yogitoes Peacock hBand -  ($4) I think the price on these is great!  They are really soft too.  I love the color blue I received too.  I will probably use this when I am washing my face more than for doing Yoga.  This goes with the Yoga Warrior part of the theme.

Pacifica Enlighten Palette - ($14)  I love collecting palettes.  I do not have this one and will use most of these shades so this is a keeper.  I do wish it had been a Too Faced palette but the box sent one last year.  These eye shadows contain coconut water - so they are that part of the theme.

Spongelle Boxed Flowers in Papaya - ($16)  I love getting products like this in boxes!  I will have to hide this from my teenage daughter who also loves sponges with goody soap in them!  Papaya and Soft Skin - the themes of the month these contribute to.

Quay Sunglasses - ($45)   This was our expensive item of the box - I now have 5 pairs of sunglasses with the pairs I have been getting from sub boxes plus the ones I own already.  This is fine with me though because I lose and break them all the time. Sun-Kissed!

In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume -  ($16) A book!  I have been looking through sub boxes that send books for a few weeks now, trying to find one I will really enjoy.  I want a book sent to me a month but with little goodies too.  This might be my favorite thing in this months PopSugar box!  I have read Judy Blume for years.  Outdoor fun?  This would be a good beach read.

There were also Snap Infusion Super Candy in the box - but my hubby and son grabbed them right up and ate them on their way to work out at the gym.  They highly recommend them!

I have not really been happy with my PopSugar boxes lately. When I look at the value of this one versus Little Lace Box, I really cannot justify keeping this one.  I will watch for spoilers for July, but I am guessing I will not be going back. The value on this box was just over $1oo.

What's in 

the bag?

Ipsy is a monthly subscription bag that ships for $10.  It always includes a little makeup bag and 4-5 makeup, hair, or skin products.  It used to contain more makeup than anything but here lately it's been about half and half.  I count it a good bag for makeup when I get 3 makeup items.  

The theme this month is Fresh Start:

The bag was kind of plain this month - white on one side and blue on the other:

 Manna Kadar Sheer Glo -  (full size $29)  This is a highlighter to get a shimmery glow.  I am not thrilled with the ingredients here since it has parabens.  I will probably pass this on to my sister.  I looked on their website and it does not look like you can purchase this size tube unless it is in a package.

Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow - (~$5)  You cannot buy these as singles but as a part of a set.  I really like this and love the fact that these are natural products.  It is a shade I would have purchased for myself.

Malin + Goetz -Mojito lip balm -   ($8)  I have tried several items from this brand through Birchbox, and I have loved them.   They are also a natural based company who does not believe in putting chemicals in their products like parabens and sulfates.

Hikari Eye Liner in Storm -  ($13)  I rarely wear eye liner so I will pass this on to my sister but I like this brand.  

LA Fresh Eco-Beauty  Moisturizer -   ($13.99)  I really like the fact that this sample has a spout on it - much better than the normal foil packets that you use once and have to just toss because it does not stay in one place.  I love moisturizers and am excited to try a new one.

 There was a nice value in this month's bag but there are only about 3 of the items that I will be using.  I do like that there are 3 makeup products in it.

Ipsy does a Tuesday sale each week that can save you a little money on your favorite makeup.  Two weeks ago they did one for Pacifica that was fantastic - these three items for $20.  The CC cream, powder, and under eye brightening cream were included in the set. 

My daughter and I collect these Funko Pop figurines and I received a few for my birthday this week - Sam and Dean from Supernatural.

Benefit is one of my favorite makeup brands - and I am super excited about these four products.  Majorette blush is a newbie item I have been wanting to get my hands on for weeks!  It will probably be what I choose from Sephora for my birthday.

Birchbox often does limited edition boxes and these are two that I wish I had not missed.  They are super cute!  Hopefully they will come back in stock one day.

Terry released this cute blush - I am crazy about the packaging on this!

Perfectly Posh sells this Hey, Honey hand creme that is phenomenal.  I love this hand creme - the texture, the smell, the size of container!  LOVE!

 I found this cute centerpiece on Pinterest.  I want to make this but need to figure out where to get the cute suckers.

 

Ipsy September Streetstyle

What's in the Bag?

           

Ipsy is a monthly subscription box that is $10 a month.  Ipsy's theme this month was Streetstyle.    

The bag this month is a metallic gray that I love!  Super cute!

Crown Brush - I really like it when we get makeup brushes with our bags and this brush is terrific.  It has a brush on each end.  I like to replace my brushes every few months so this is perfect.  The brush is full price at $17.50. 

Pacifica Natural Waterproof Eye Pencil -   I like the Pacifica brand and this eye pencil is very nice.  I like that it is a brown which I use.   The pencil is $11 on the Pacifica site.

Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss in Natural Instinct - I like Cailyn's lip glosses.  This is a nice neutral color.  These are $19 if purchased on their website.  

NYX Hot singles Eye Shadow - This is one of one of my favorite low end brands!  I use so much eye shadow this will not go unused and it has cute packaging.  These are about $4.50 each.   

BRIOGEO DON'T DESPAIR DEEP CONDITIONING MASK -   This is a hair mask.  I am not thrilled when Ipsy puts hair masks and treatments in the bag due to the fact that I have a ton of hair and there is never enough to see if I like it.  I will probably pass this along to my sister.  This sells for $26 for 5.25 oz.

I signed up to get two Ipsy bags a few months ago and answered the questions differently.  So I was surprised I received the same exact bag this month for both.  The only difference was the shades of the lip gloss and eye shadow.
