I really try to save up my points but I usually find something I want to get at a time when they are offering a great free item with purchase.  This time it was a Toni & Guy set that made me spend my points.

My daughter really loves the Beauty Protector line you can get through Birchbox so I picked up this cute little set for her Birthday this week.  It is the Jet Set kit and comes with hand cream, body cleanser, shampoo and conditioner, and a leave in conditioner.  She absconded with my leave in conditioner the first time I got it in a Birchbox and has been asking me for a refill for awhile.  This set is $22.

I love Birchbox point system - you earn points to buy products in their online store.  You can review products, buy products, sign up friends, and buy subscription boxes to earn points.   100 points equals $10.  

I redeemed my points for a few fun items.  Beauty Protector has a nice little gift set I am getting for my daughter for her birthday.  She loves this brand. 

I also love Pinch Minimergency Kit.  It includes 17 items for emergencies from band aids to hairspray.  

Birchbox also has a free add on Mystery Sample pack for two samples if your purchase is over $35.   This can be added on without using a coupon code - which is terrific as you can only use on coupon code per transaction.
